K2 — vegansk
Vitamin K2 is one of the newer vitamins, and it is often confused with vitamin K1. Vitamin K2 activates the protein osteocalcin, which ensures that calcium is deposited in the bones. In addition, it also activates the Matrix GLA (MGP) protein, which prevents the calcium from being deposited in the blood vessels. Thus, Vitamin K2 contributes to maintaining a normal bone structure. As a contrast, vitamin K1 is regulating blood clotting.
We offer two different vegan supplements of vitamin K2:
- Natural Natto Vitamin K2 with 45 mcg per. capsule
- Vegetable Vitamin K2 with 90 mcg pr. tablet
contains bioactive menakinon-7, made from fermented soybeans (natto), which for centuries has helped the Japanese maintain a healthy bone structure. Natural Natto Vitamin K2 is available in a vegan capsule, which can either be swallowed or opened and mixed onto your breakfast.
Vegetable Vitamin K2contains bioactive menakinon-7, which is produced on the basis of the bacterial culture Bacillus Subtilis, which enables us to make a soy free vitamin K2. Vegetable Vitamin K2 is available in a small easy to swallow tablet with a break line, so the dose can easily be divided in two.
K2 vitamins are highly reactive vitamins and we therefore only use microencapsulated vitamin K2 in our products, to ensure the highest stability and quality.Supplement Facts and Ingredients

Fødevarestyrelsen og EU skelner desværre ikke imellem Vitamin K1 og Vitamin K2 på trods af, at de virker vidt forskelligt i kroppen. Den øvre tolerable grænse for Vitamin K er fastsat til 670 mg.
